Red Deer Square Dance Club is pleased to announce that our club caller for the 2024 - 2025 season will be Ron Morgan!

 

A little about Ron: Ron first started square dancing in B.C's Okanagan Valley in 1991 and called his first tip in 1992. He frequented open mic events throughout the area until he moved to Red Deer in 2000. Ron has completed 4 callers' schools in both B.C. and Alberta and taught lessons for the Lacombe Square Dance Club from 2001 - 2008. He also previously taught lessons for the Red Deer Club from 2006 - 2016 and again in 2018 - 2020, also teaching in Rocky Mountain House during some of those years. Ron has called for many events and demonstrations, as well as at provincial conventions. Ron brings a passion for teaching others as he shares his love of square dancing with newcomers.
